Be sure you drink water, or flavored water, instead of drinking your liquids through coffee and soda all day. Drinking often can also help you lose weight, as you will be less hungry. This is because thirst is often mistaken by the brain for hunger, making you crave snacks when you are, in fact, thirsty.
Moisturize! Use a moisturizing lotion on your hands, feet, and face to help ensure that your skin looks bright and young.
Wear clothes that fit you and flatter your body shape. Though skinny jeans are in style, be aware that not all body types can wear skinny jeans. Instead, choose close-fitting pants that give you more room, if you are larger. Shirts that are flowing, light, and patterned are often great for larger women. If you have a small frame, a fitted coat can do wonders to make you look taller.
Update your hairstyle to a style that fits your personality, proportions, and age. This is best done by a hairstylist, who can also dye your hair to another color if you want to be more expressive with your hair.
Take care of your mental health, too. Many people forget to do this and find themselves in poor health mentally as stress from work or family life builds up. Use positive affirmations, breathing exercises, and yoga to balance your mind with your body.
